Used for about 6 months only as baby has been taking solids. Very well maintained and no fruit colour stains. It was very useful as it makes preparing purée foods a breeze. Best of all is that all the flavours and nutrients are locked in. See video here: http://youtu.be/EN_CvZzPV8M
Rather than doing puree everyday, to save energy and time, we would blend a full jar which is enough to fill 2 ice cube trays and we freeze them. (You can buy ice cube racks with covers from Japan Home.) Once it is frozen, we will pop them out and pack them into zip lock bags.
For veg, we pureed pumpkin, broccoli, carrot, sweet potato, spinach which we will defroze 1 or 2 cubes when needed and mix with porridge. For snack or dessert, our daughter likes pureed strawberry, blueberry, cherries and apple.
By the way, broccoli, blueberry and cherries are superfood for the brain, just like avocado.
